SCULPTURE
Sculpture is such a broad term including so many materials, methods, sizes and shapes, one never feels he has got his arms around this form of art. I have had some varied experiences including smaller pieces using found object themes, combining found objects with other materials, large scale pieces that people can interact with three dimensionally, and human size pieces that are whimsical themes and just fun to look at. Skills needed for these varied pieces include carpentry, welding, painting, and use of many paper, plastic, glass, and found object materials. None of these skills have I mastered but have had enjoyment experimenting with all of them. It is my hope that the future may present opportunities to design and coordinate construction of some intermediate and large size sculptures to integrate with and enhance some architectural projects.
