This was a scale model of a  trellis to be constructed at a mall in Pomona, CA.  It was submitted as an entry to a competition , the winner was to be awarded a commission to construct their proposal.  it is approximately 24 ft in diameter and 12 feet tall, allowing people to circulate under and around it.  It was to be constructed of glue-lam members combined with shaped logs that were to be purchased from a log home builder in Bellingham WA.  The entry received honorable mention but was not the winner.
